Our paleoecology lab is collecting and analyzing modern and fossil African mammal data in a multitude of localtiies to use in understanding more about the habitats and biogeography of hominins and their communities in the past. We collect data on diet, body size, and substrate use based on multiple types of data such as isotopes, hypsodonty, ecometrics, ecomorphology, and micro and mesowear of the animals that can, of course, be used in the past.
Soon at this site, we will make these data available for you to use for projects.
